Things he didn’t know:
1. He didn’t know that he was on my mind all the time, even in my sleep.
2. He didn’t know that I loved him the moment I saw him.
3. He didn’t know that I really believed it when I told my friend I was going to marry him 30 minutes after we met.
4. He didn’t know that when we accidentally went ring shopping, I was shaking because I was so happy, not because I was scared or nervous.
5. He didn’t know that I was looking into inexpensive wedding locations and ideas so we didn’t have to wait so long to get married.
6. He didn’t know that I only nagged him about what he ate because I was selfish and wanted to keep him around longer.
7. He didn’t know that when he looked at me with his beautiful blue eyes I melted inside.
8. He didn’t know that it broke my heart to be away from him for even a minute, so our long weeks apart were torture for me.
9. He didn’t know that I felt safer in his arms than I ever have in my life.
10. He didn’t know that he taught me to truly love, and then took it away.
I will miss him always.

He also didn’t know he was making a mistake to leave, that losing her would be a decision he would regret much later, when she had already found somebody else that would never hurt her, somebody who loved her forever and ever. Then he would know how it really felt, because he himself would be writing a long list of things he would now miss for the rest of his life.
